MY COMPUTER FROZE AND DELETED IT. FREAKING OUT.
When I was maybe 12 I saw this documentary about Monticello and it briefly showed this tiny brick structure, smaller than this one, overlooking a valley that Jefferson used to sit in and read. If I remember it right, it had nothing in it but books and a chair. The excitement I felt thinking about having something like that for myself was the beginning of my interest in tiny houses and other hand-made homes.
So I guess thanks, Thomas Jefferson. You’re problematic as hell, but you gave me a cool idea.
